International Architectural Project Success from IZTECH Team

Our research assistant Yusuf Furkan Kaya, our graduate Ceren Bingöl and their teammate Beatrice Tosini were awarded with honorable mention for their “Urban Loop” projects in the organization, which is an international architectural idea project competition. The project, which aims to represent the city of Detroit to regain its old days full of life, aims to become a new node and symbol for Detroit by interacting with the water and the life developing around it and the COBO center, which is one of the most important exhibition centers of the city and the country, thanks to its location on the river. . This complex structure, which has a total program of 80.000 m² with a hotel with 500 rooms, more than 200 housing units and 20.000 m² social areas, also works as a transfer center.

Attracting attention with these comprehensive projects in the competition where many projects took place, the team succeeded in impressing the jury and was deemed worthy of an award.
