TUBITAK Intern Researcher Program (STAR), which supports undergraduate students with scholarships to acquire R&D culture and take part in scientific research projects, has been concluded for 2020. Within the scope of the program, where 1,963 TUBITAK projects and over 12 thousand applications were evaluated, 1,500 students were entitled to receive support with 1,359 projects. 38 students from our institute were among the 1,500 undergraduate students who will be supported by TÜBİTAK with their projects.

Applications were received for the Intern Researcher Program, which was announced by our President Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN on 20.10.2020, between 2-30 November 2020. As a result of their placements, students selected from 134 different undergraduate programs of 145 universities will gain experience in conducting scientific research by being included in the research ecosystem. While students will gain experience in scientific research projects that are of great importance for the future of our country, they will be supported with monthly scholarships for 6 months. We congratulate our students and wish them continued success.
